Fredonia Arizona

Fredonia is one of the communities that make up Coconino County Arizona. It is considered to be the northern gateway to the Grand Canyon.

Recreational activities include hiking, camping, hunting, fishing and more. Fredonia is set on the high desert plateau between the North Rim of the Grand Canyon and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument. Sand lovers will want to check out Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, with 3000 acres of beautiful pink sand to play on.

Fredonia is situated just 70 miles from the North Rim Village of the Grand Canyon. In fact, one of the most enticing things about Fredonia is it's remote location. It's in the heart of one of most sparsely populated regions in the country and is 190 miles from Las Vegas, the nearest metropolitan area.
